Indie developer Spilt Milk Studios revealed their latest project, Lazarus, an MMO where time turns back every week.
Thousands of players work together to survive in the action-oriented Sci-fi world teeming with moments of brawling, foraging, and exploring.
Lazarus will be free to play and self-published which lets Spilt Milk Studios gain full control of the gaming experience while it’s in Early Access on Steam. The first closed Beta test starts on August 12th and signs ups are found on the game’s website.
“We’re incredibly excited about the scope and scale of what we’re trying to do here - it takes 37 minutes to get from one corner of the world to the other, and the game area is 160,000 km2, which is bigger than North Korea,” said Andrew J. Smith, Design Director at Spilt Mill Studios. “There will be at least 1000 players in the game, in one server, at a time. So we can’t wait to have players jump into the Beta and start having fun with us soon!”
