Developer and Publisher GSC Game World announced the release date for Cossacks 3.
The highly anticipated sequel to the award winning series will be available for purchase worldwide on Sept. 20th.
Cossacks 3 will be a remake of the original game that launched back in 2000, and will contain all the elements that made previous Cossacks games a success and combine them with present day 3-D graphics. The Real Time Strategy game promises to feature construction of buildings, production of raw materials, and the influence of the landscape.
Previous Cossacks games took pride in their usage of army battles with thousands of units, integrated with the economical duties of running a nation.
On top of that, Cossacks has always delivered outstanding multiplayer battles, helping it be recognized as the RTS of the Year in some countries.
Cossacks 3 promises to keep that same standard and put fresh new twists on gameplay to create the same game but with a contemporary feel. Pick from twelve different nations and five single-player campaigns and conquer the land. With 70 different unit types, 100 research opportunities, and over 140 different historical buildings, the diversity of gameplay experience is bigger than ever before. Random generated maps also provide variations on the battles you wage, making most gameplay sessions unique.
