Over The Moon Publishes Developer Insights Video on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

STRAIGHT FROM THE DEVS: John Warner, creative director of Over The Moon has launched the second episode in their series of Developer Insight videos, analyzing well crafted concepts from titles the developer admires. This time Warner focuses his attention on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and how it contextualises player motivation into every aspect of its systems. From fighting, to exploration, to fishing, each action the player does is bringing them one step closer to defeating Calamity Ganon. Warner explains how he’s applied these lessons towards The Fall Part 2: Unbound, due to launch February 13th.

Over The Moon was founded in 2013, to create games with rich, compelling worlds that blend gameplay and narrative, to push our understanding of video games as a medium.
