The First DLC for Armello Available August 30th

Written by

League of Geeks announced the first DLC pack for their fantasy digital board game, Armello.

The pack, titled Usurpers Hero Pack, features four new playable characters, along with new equipment.

Armello is a digital board game focused on the tactics of card battles, combined with a character role-playing system. The goal of every character is to claim the throne from the mad king of Armello. The journey you choose to achieve that goal is up to you.

The four heroes included in the DLC Pack come from the four different animal clans found in the game. This brings the total amount of heroes to 12, each with their own unique stats and power, allowing for diverse game play.

The Four Heroes:

- Magna, the Unbroken: A tank-like Wolf Clan member.
- Elyssia, Wardress of Warrens: A wise, cunning tactician from the Rabbit Clan.
- Ghor, the Wylkin: A druid-like magic wielder from the Bear Clan.
- Sargon, The Death Teller: A balanced, psychic hero of the Rat Clan.

Co-founder and director of League of Geeks Trent Kusters commented on the addition of the Usurpers Hero DLC pack. “Launching Armello last September was never the end goal, just a milestone. The Usurpers Hero Pack expands Armello's depth of strategy and diversified playstyles. We have been overjoyed by the positive reception fans continue to show the game and are not only excited to expand the experience, but to also welcome Xbox players into our incredible community.”

The current version of Armello is available now for PC on Steam, with the first DLC pack coming on August 30th.
