The Silver Case Trailer Shows Off HD Remastered Version

July 20, 2016 Written by

Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. announced earlier this year that they would be bringing back their classic point-and-click adventure game, The Silver Case, for an HD remastering. Grasshopper also revealed the first trailer for the HD remaster, which shows off the new look and English localization of the game.

The Silver Case in 1999 was only available in Japan and never got a release in English.

After 17 years, the visual novel adventure game will be playable by gamers outside Japan, eager to try it out. The Silver Case is filled with characters with striking personalities, unexpected plotlines, and an original world-view. The game takes advantage of 2D illustrations to relay these points.

Originally released in 1999 for the PlayStation, the HD version will be playable on PC come August 2016.
