The follow up to KOEI TECMO’s hit series Nobunaga’s Ambition is heading to Steam this October for North America. The history simulation game released earlier this year in Japan.
The Nobunaga Ambition series brings to life the history of Japanese history. Ascension highlights some of the most influential battles of the Sengoku Era, pitting warlord against warlord. Players will experience the breaking apart of the country, the establishments of clans, and the emergence of the first Shogunate.
Ascension also offers players the chance to start their adventure as a common foot soldier who ascends the ranks to become an influential warlord. Even becoming the overlord of Japan is a possibility.
History buffs will be able to experience battles first hand, controlling over 2000 diverse characters. Yukimura Sanada, believed by many to be Japan’s strongest Samurai ever, will be given special attention. Witness his journey from a 16 year old boy to a mighty warrior to his eventual defeat.
