Funcom Kicks Off Its First Sale For Conan Exiles

New players get to enjoy 24 updates worth of new content, new features, and improvements since Early Access launch in January.

Funcom is excited to announce that the studio has just kicked off its first ever discount sale for Conan Exiles. Gamers can now get the Standard Edition at 20% off and the Barbarian Edition at 10% off through Steam, Green Man Gaming, and other online stores. The Steam Midweek Madness Sale runs until April 14th. You can also get the game directly from Funcom via the official website at ConanExiles.com.

Launching into Early Access on January 31st 2017, Conan Exiles quickly became a smash hit with the open-world survival audience, selling almost half a million units in the first month. Since it was released, the development team has worked hard on adding new content and features, as well as eliminating bugs and improving the game based on player feedback. A total of 24 updates have been released so far, ranging from smaller fixes to big content updates introducing trebuchet weaponry, a new dungeon, a dye system, and more.

Funcom just released an “Updates so far” blog post that details some of the major additions and improvements the team has added.

The team continues to push hard to further develop the game as it heads towards full launch. The game will see a full launch on PC in Q1 2018. Funcom has already released an ambitious overview of its update plan through 2017. The team also recently published a Conan Exiles survey asking the community directly for input on what they would like the developers to focus their efforts on going forward.

The Long Dark is imperfect, but it could be one of the best experiences in the survival genre. For the impatient, single-player gamer, The Long Dark holds little promise. However, if you relish the challenge of isolation and the feeling that you’re fighting against an environment that isn’t trying to kill you, but rather just doesn’t care about you, then you must try The Long Dark.

KISS Ltd and Hydra Interactive Entertainment announced that as of today, PC gamers can play their paper platformer via Steam Early Access, highlighting that Upside-Down Dimensions is an enchanting and unique game that combines action, hack n slash, RPG, stealth, platform and co-op puzzles for a truly remarkable gameplay experience.

  • inVokeR Early Access Review

inVokeR is, by far, the best spell-casting virtual reality experience that I’ve played, thanks in large part to its immersive controls and exciting combat. If more modes and features get added past those initially available, inVokeR would have no problem becoming the must-have VR experience for those wishing to duel in the world of wizards.

  • Fable Fortune Early Access Review

Fable Fortune breaks free of closed beta and into the free-to-play wild on July 25, 2017. Should you feed it or shoot it? Is it good or evil? Most importantly, can you kick chickens? You, your rich auntie, and your dog are cordially invited to the grand opening [1] of this (a) Fable franchise inspired (b) collectible card game — albeit one with room for improvement on both of those fronts.

  • Gorescript Review

With sparse environments that burst into color as the action unfolds, solid level design, and a low hand-holding, high satisfaction difficulty curve, Gorescript is already a title worth picking up, but with the fast-paced, visceral combat of its early nineties inspirations and the tight, responsive controls of a modern engine, this release becomes the rare homage of spirit over form that understands what made the arcade FPS of yesteryear great, and adds only the modern amenities that make it better. Definitely worth a try.

  • The Long Journey Home Review

What The Long Journey Home lacks in originality in its gameplay, it makes up for with realism in its characters and extensive narrative. It draws the player into a harsh, unforgiving universe that is as strange as it is beautiful. Wit, skill, and determination are needed to survive, but even with these, success is not guaranteed. Gamers who enjoy a challenge and the thrill of the unknown will get the most out of The Long Journey Home.

  • Mr. Donovan Early Access Review

Although some of the new ideas in Mr. Donovan are appreciated, what exactly was supposed to be fueling the motivation to play remains a mystery. For an action RPGs, there’s not enough loot or action; for a survival game there’s not enough survival or base-building. In the end, however, Mr. Donovan was right: who wouldn’t want to leave that planet?

  • Impact Winter Review

Impact Winter may have just a few too many issues now, but the real reason it isn’t a must-buy is that it would be much more fun if you were just a lonely man wandering the wasteland for items to make your church better. Instead, you must keep wondering if the campfire burnt out, and if the nearly-useless compatriots huddled around it are slowly dying now because no one knows how to throw another damned baseball bat into the embers.
