Dropping the player into a uniquely vibrant and charmingly bad-mannered game, Orangeblood manages to give a memorable RPG experience in spite of its conventional gameplay.

Though you might miss some of the newer mechanics of the series in this PC port, the polish, intriguing cast of characters, and milestones to look forward to make this title worth picking up.

Daemon X Machina needs some work. Its mechanics are rough, its controls are unwieldy and confusing, and its story is difficult to follow. While it’s mildly entertaining to pilot a giant robot, there are other games that pull off the experience more effectively.

Despite the control issues and short playthrough length, the relaxing ambience, charming story, and beautiful artwork make this an adventure title well worth playing.

Fun to play, but a little lacklustre overall.

A versatile addition to the series, Atelier Ryza offers new and engaging features, though it does need some tweaking in regards to overleveling.

With interesting characters, this RPG is a fun way to pass time, but the overall gameplay is not immersive enough to provide an involved experience.

With impressive customization options and a challenging yet manageable difficulty level, this RPG has a lot to offer if you can look past the occasional glitches and a multiplayer that feels lacking unless you already have friends to play with. 

Despite its brutal third act, Metal Wolf Chaos XD is big, loud, and silly in all the best ways.

The first installment of what looks to be an interesting series, Misadventures of Laura Silver: Chapter 1 brings polish and interactivity to the visual novel genre.

Quirky and deliberately cheesy, EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 5 boasts hours of enjoyable if straightforward content.

With dozens of hours of enjoyable gameplay, this polished title will appeal to JRPG enthusiasts and Atelier fans alike. 

While innocuous and stable, this microtransaction-less gacha game will only really appeal Dragonball superfans and gacha enthusiasts.

A JRPG that will appeal to fans of the genre with its interesting setting and unique combat system, but it's ultimately marred by tedious battles and dull dialogue.

While enjoyable mechanically, it’s very much an "Act One" of a larger story. As a standalone title, there's not much here for lore buffs or power gamers.

A successful PC port with exceptional storytelling that lacks important control options and falls short of expectations in certain technical areas.

Featuring a unique Chinese aesthetic and fun, fast-paced gameplay, Bladed Fury is a great gaming experience brimming with personality.

A darkly humorous and entertaining addition to the series, Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash has a charming assortment of unique characters and a host of interesting choices, but doesn’t always translate well into the visual novel format. Fans of the series will enjoy seeing their favorite characters in outlandish scenarios, but the lack of any lasting consequences ultimately detracts from the title’s overall impact.

Fate/EXTELLA LINK, with its rich cast of characters, might just remind you what you love about the hack-and-slash genre.
