Of Kings And Men Brings Medieval War to PC

From the creators of the critically acclaimed RPG, Mount and Blade: Warband, comes a new medieval RPG –Of Kings And Men. The indie game is set to make an Early Access release this month on Steam.

The real-time strategy game Meridian: Squad 22 is leaving early access and coming to a full release on August 12th. Developer Elder Games believes that the time is right to bring Squad 22 out of Early Access.

Boomzap Entertainment, developers of the recent hit strategy game Legends of Callasia, are working on a Dwarf expansion titled The Stoneborne. The expansion is completely crowd funded via Kickstarter, reaching its target goal in less than 24 hours. Now, Boomzap is encouraging fans to reach the extra content by making the stretch goals.

10 Second Ninja X Now Available

Announced by indie publisher Curve Digital, the next heart-pumping action platformer, 10 second Ninja X, is now available for purchase on PC. In celebration, those who own a Pebble smartwatch will receive a free copy of the game. The only catch is that watch owners need to be able to count to exactly ten seconds on the app’s timer in order to receive the prize.

During EVO 2016 in Las Vegas, TEKKEN series director Katsuhiro Harada revealed two more characters to join the fray of fighters, Bob and Master Raven. Each had their own trailer at EVO 2016 showing off their move set and design.

The exact date for the digital release of BATMAN –The Telltale Series will be announced later on, but players can expect an August release.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III Descent DLC

The third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Descent, is available now for Playstation 4.

There is still no release date announced for Xbox One or PC at the moment, but Activision expects to make known in the future.

Playstation 4 owners who preordered Descent or bought a Season Pass will get the Descent Dynamic Theme.

Descent DLC features four new action-packed multiplayer stages: Cryogen, Berserk, Rumble, and Empire. Cyrogen is person with tight walls that offers opportunities for wall running attacks. Berserk takes place in a frozen Viking village, lost in time. Rumlbe is an arena area where giant mechanized warriors duke it out. Empire comes back from the Black Ops II map, Raid, featuring a classic Roman villa recreated by an eccentric billionaire.

Descent also explores the Zombie storyline of Black Ops. The third episode puts the Origins characters into war-torn Stalingrad, where they must fight against some of the strongest foes they have ever encountered. Element 115 wreaked havoc over a battlefield where mechanized soldiers and deadly dragons fought. Now it’s up to the Origins group to survive the battle… and use sick dragon shields!

The Descent DLC pack is $14.99 on the Playstation Store. Hopefully they'll price it the same (or less) for PC gamers.

Kakao Games, publisher of Black Desert Online, announced the release date for the next two classes for their popular MMO title. Ninja and Kunoichi class will be playable in July 20th. Both classes offer new strategies to win in a game already filled with creative parkour elements.

Green Man Gaming Publishing and Small Impact Games announced earlier this morning the release of brand new features and improvements for the medieval survival game, The Black Death. The update is out with unlocked content for all users who bought the game before the 17th.

What Went Wrong with Mighty No. 9?

Mighty No. 9. A few years ago, just hearing the name would make Mega Man fanboys squeal with delight. Now it only reminds them of a failed attempt at reviving their beloved series. Perhaps the disappointment with Mighty No. 9 stems from high expectations held by 67,225 Kickstarter backers. You can’t blame them, but outright saying Mighty No. 9 is a horrible game may be an exaggeration. However, while I think the reviews for the game are harsh, the overall goal to create a spiritual successor to Mega Man failed.

The future of Virtual Reality is not set in stone. It may very well be the way all of us play video games ten years from now. Then again, it may just be a passing craze. However, if there is any future for VR, it will be on the PC.
