Written by

Banbury, Oxfordshire – 5 th October 2017

STRAIGHT FROM THE DEVS: Former Mafia II, Mafia III and DayZ developer Jan Zelený partners with Excalibur to digitally distribute transport strategy game Mashinky. Developer Jan Zelený, who has previously worked as a programmer on Mafia II, Mafia III and DayZ, has teamed up with Excalibur Games to sell Mashinky. The game is now available to purchase at https://www.excaliburpublishing.com/products/mashinky, and will release in Early Access tomorrow, Friday 6th October 2017.

The simulator challenges players with building and managing a railway company – laying down tracks on procedurally generated terrain, researching and buying vehicles and transporting passengers and cargo take centre stage in the challenging Mashinky. Construction mode will take players into an isometric view, allowing them to easily build their railway network, while the rest of the game takes place in a beautiful 3D world.

The partnership with Jan Zelený to digitally sell Mashinky is a hallmark of Excalibur Games’ dedication to being the home of simulation and management games, and this is just one of our 3rd party endeavours.
