Lost Castle Early Access Interview

Lost Castle is an action RPG beat'em up with roguelike elements and randomized dungeons.

SpiritSphere Early Access Review

An amusing twist on an old style of game, SpiritSphere will annoy you to no end. If you can push through and beat a few levels, the amount of personal gratification will be astronomical. Good retro graphics and music, but too many bugs and doesn't feel finished.

Releasing a Raptor Requires Rigorous Refinement

Chris Park from Archen Games took it upon himself to realize everyone's dreams of playing as one of the most widely known predators and created In Case of Emergency, Release Raptor. Set for release on July 5th, it was pushed back to the 8th then once more pushed to the 11th until finally set on release again on the 21st.

90 Minute Fever Early Access Review

The overall feeling I get from 90 Minute Fever is that the developers are nowhere near what could be accomplished. Of course, the game is in alpha at the moment, but the obfuscation of the details regarding mechanics, organization, and overall construction of the game menus bar it from getting a pass.

KartKraft Early Acces Review

If you’re looking for a hyper-realistic gokart racing simulator, then KartKraft is for you. Crash-em smash-em wild racing fan? Look elsewhere, because this is for the pros.

Meridian: Squad 22 Early Access Review

Alas, Meridian: Squad 22 just falls way short of the mark. There are too many design issues, too many miscalculations, to make this worth buying. Perhaps if it wasn’t just “one guy” it would be different, but it’s not.

Dr. Spacezoo Early Access Interview

Rescue exotic space animals from a corrupt AI in Dr. Spacezoo, a chaotic twin-stick precision shoot-em-up for 1-4 players. Or reduce them to gibs. Your call, monster.

Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander Early Access Review

Extraordinarily put together and well thought out. This beta release captivates and draws you into its world. With further tweaks, this game will quickly become a staple in both RPG and Sci Fi enthusiasts alike.

Man O' War: Corsair Early Access Review

As a Warhammer fanatic (I have both Fantasy and 40k miniatures), Man O’ War: Corsair is shaping up to be a fantastic sandbox-esque game. Even with it being in early access and missing a few important aspects, it is a straight up roller coaster ride to play.

Bunker Punks Early Access Interview

Bunker Punks is a roguelike first-person shooter set in a dystopian future. You control a group of revolutionaries, raiding corporate strongholds for supplies, weapons and armor. Customize your bunker, strengthen your gang and overthrow the corporate government.

Gyrodisc Super League Early Access Review

This is a fun title overall with fast frenetic gameplay (especially if you have buddies over), it is easy to pick up and play, and with more unlockables on the horizon there should be more content to keep players coming back. If it can deliver on all of its promises I will no longer need to be playing my emulator anymore.

Bunker Punks Early Access Review & Interview

Although no raw innovation is involved, Bunker Punks delivers a solid shooter experience. It's a test of PvE skill in a simple space. There is a risk and return for every playing method, which capitalizes on replay value. Being greedy and rash will lead to repetition, but going slow and steady will be frustrating. It's up to you to strike a balance.

Factorio Early Access Review

If you’re the type of gamer who likes their experience to feel like work, to feel like management, like another job, then Factorio might be for you. For myself, however, Factorio doesn’t necessarily do anything new or otherwise exciting.
