Quake Champions is getting new content, features, and improvements driven by feedback from the community. Next Thursday, March 15, id Software will roll out the next big free update for Quake Champions, delivering new ways to play and new looks. This will include the return of Instagib - the first new game mode added since closed beta - the introduction of ‘No Abilities Mode’ in custom games; a new 2v2 version of Ranked Play for competitive players and a variety of seasonal cosmetics to commemorate the coming of Spring.

The development team of Goblinz Studio, founded by Johann Verbroucht, met with OPnoobs at the Paris Games Week and presented us with their new title, Robothorium: a futuristic, turn-based, tactical RPG where you run robots with several various skill trees — it’s up to the player to choose the one that suits him or her the best. Campaign mode and PvP are also present.

It’s hard to pinpoint the inception of the esports movement, but much speaks for placing it somewhere around the year 2000. Fueled by fears of the end of the world (brought about by the Y2K bug), public sentiment took a downturn. The live finals will match up the best European Mount & Blade players in Bucharest on May 20 to compete for a prize pool of $10,000. The event is organized by the Lithuanian Esports Federation with the support of TaleWorlds Entertainment and hosted at the PGL Studio in Bucharest, Romania.

Though the production quality isn’t terrible, when compared to other titles in the genre, there’s nothing that makes World Rally Championship 6 special, other than the fully licensed vehicles and drivers. If you’re in it for the name and brand recognition, then this title is probably for you. Otherwise, either buy Dirt Rally or put your $44.99 in a piggy bank and save up for a real rally car.

Rallycross, one of the world’s most thrilling and action-packed motorsports, will come fully-loaded to Project CARS 2 with an array of licensed cars and tracks in late 2017.
