This action-packed “Bros before Foes” brawler is a good addition to any skull-busting, head-banging rocker’s library. Although it does have areas of improvement and potentially unintended setbacks, Super Dungeon Bros brings together bro-tastic characters with many difficulties and modes to form a fun game that is everlasting and enjoyable for days.
Straimium Immortaly gives players yet another side-scrolling adventure that does all of the classical tropes you might expect, but with a new face, some funky twists, and some enhanced tactics toward making the most of a rogue-lite player's inclination toward difficulty.
As it currently stands, Mystery Chronicles is a weak remaster of the original, but it's possible that we may see more coming from Spike Chunsoft in this game. Many players who experienced problems like consistent and constant crashing were voicing their concerns and the game was patched in no time to address them. The end verdict is: if you want a smooth roguelike RPG, play the original.
Lost Castle is an action RPG beat'em up with roguelike elements and randomized dungeons.
A piece of art that you can play, with fantastic music, storyline, and plenty of opportunities to make you chuckle, you'll want to play Heart&Slash time and time again, and that’s definitely worth a gold star in the game world.
Dead Age is a must have for any RPG fan who has always hoped for a post-apocalyptic theme replete with realistic graphics and an awe-inspiring soundtrack.
Duskers is a tactical roguelike survival game set in the depths of a universe almost devoid of life. Produced by a small indie studio, Misfits Attic, it is their second commercially released title and was funded by the support of a variety of very generous and helpful indie devs and the good folks of Indie Fund. It just goes to show that indie developers stick together, and it’s about producing games they enjoy, not milking the customer for their monies!
In a gaming word where top-down shooters are quite overplayed and almost flooding the market, Enter The Gungeon has done an excellent job setting itself aside from the rest. Not many top-down shooters have such well-done mechanics and fun dungeon crawling aspects. Currently available now on Steam, priced at $14.99, this game is definitely worth picking up and giving it a run through. I think you’ll enjoy it just as much as I have.
Bunker Punks is a roguelike first-person shooter set in a dystopian future. You control a group of revolutionaries, raiding corporate strongholds for supplies, weapons and armor. Customize your bunker, strengthen your gang and overthrow the corporate government.
Although no raw innovation is involved, Bunker Punks delivers a solid shooter experience. It's a test of PvE skill in a simple space. There is a risk and return for every playing method, which capitalizes on replay value. Being greedy and rash will lead to repetition, but going slow and steady will be frustrating. It's up to you to strike a balance.
