-
The tournament will start promptly on Saturday, September 1st at 1:00 PM EDT.
-
Match Settings:
-
Match Time: 20 minutes, and 10 seconds.
-
Score Limit: 5 points
-
Map Pool: Fight over Firnfeld, Northern Fjords, Paritan Rumble, Canyon Ambush, Water Hazard, Clash at Blackcliff, Misty Mutiny, Ashen Scuffle, Graveyard Rumble.
-
Server Region: All matches will be played on US-East servers.
-
Tournament Procedure: The tournament will be double-elimination, and will be capped at 10 teams. Each match will be a single game, configured as listed above in 3.2. Matches will be created by tournament administrators, who will serve as referees for each match. For Winner’s Finals, Loser’s Finals, and Grand Finals, maps will be preselected. For all other matches, maps will be randomly selected from the map pool listed above.
-
Match Setup and Lobby Procedure: A referee will create the lobby and notify both teams that it has been created. Once both teams have been given notice that the lobby has been created, the tournament organizer will then start a four minute timer, after which the match will start. Ship loadouts lock when there are thirty seconds left on the four minute timer.
-
Mid-match Procedure: Matches have a time limit of 20:10. The match concludes when a team gets 5 points or when time is reached, whichever occurs first. If time expires, the team with the higher score wins. If teams have the same score, the team that drew first blood will be awarded the win.
-
Overtime: When the time limit is reached, the match will continue if ships are doing damage to each other, ships have spots, or ships are within 1000 meters of each other. A referee will announce Overtime in chat if any of these conditions are true. Overtime will end when 5 kills are reached by a team, three minutes have elapsed, or the teams have disengaged. Disengagement is defined as both ships on either team are respawning simultaneously, or if no significant damage is being done for at least 30 seconds. Referees will announce the end of Overtime.
-
Pauses and Substitutions:
-
Pauses: Each team has one pause of up to two minutes per match they can use at their discretion, either in the lobby or in the game itself. The referee running the match must approve of the pause. During pauses, players must cease movement, spotting and firing of guns. Pauses will not be authorized if any ship has repairable damage or is in position to engage with another ship.
-
Substitutions: If a player leaves mid-match due to technical difficulties and cannot reconnect, a substitute player with the same class and loadout is allowed to take their place. Substitutes must be approved by the referee, and cannot have played for another roster competing in the tournament.
