Kakao Games, publisher of Black Desert Online, announced the release date for the next two classes for their popular MMO title. Ninja and Kunoichi class will be playable in July 20th. Both classes offer new strategies to win in a game already filled with creative parkour elements.
Kakao Games also mentioned that on July 17th, Node and Siege warfare will officially be added to Black Desert Online. The mode allows players to participate in Guild vs. Guild battle and experience a new kind of warfare. It seems more than your pride will be at stake.
Two videos that highlight the new classes were also posted at the same time of the announcement.
The videos go into a little more detail about the abilities each class possesses.
The Ninja Class focuses on close-quarter combat, optimizing deadly strikes and quick dashes. Ninjas even show proficiency in aerial skills and teleportation. They also use stun and debuff moves to gain the upper hand on enemies.
The Kunoichi class follows the Ninja style of fighting, but focuses more on deflecting attacks with a kunai. The Kunoichi focus on landing perfectly timed counterstrikes after deflecting enemy attacks. Both the Ninja and the Kunoichi can conceal themselves until the moment is just right for a deadly blow.
The update will also feature a new feature called the Skill Add-on System. Players can customize attacks with one or two effects added to a character’s skill. The Skill Reset System received some improvements, making it easier to redistribute skill points without losing add-ons. Other smaller patch updates can be viewed on the Black Desert Online forum.
Black Desert Online can be purchased on their website for $49.99. The patch is free for all previous owners of the game.
