tinyBuild sponsors cash prizes for indie devs

tinyBuild today announced their sponsoring in hard cash prizes of indie games at a game development event in Minsk, Belarus. The event is called DevGAMM and has the region's biggest game awards show.

The Descenders: Test Sessions Announced

Publishing label No More Robots and developer RageSquid today revealed the Descenders: Test Sessions, allowing players to check out upcoming mountain biking game Descenders for themselves for the first time before the full public release.

The Chronicles of Nyanya Release Date Announced

Polish publisher Fat Dog Games has announced that "The Chronicles of Nyanya", a new cat-filled RPG game will be available on Steam, November 18th. Players tried out "The Chronicles of Nyanya" during Pixel Heaven in Poland, Gamescom in Germany, ChinaJoy in Shanghai and PAX Seattle.

MISSING: The Complete Saga Surpasses Kickstarter Goal

NASSCOM Gaming Forum today announced that Leena Kejriwal of studio, The MISSING Public Art and Awareness Campaign has secured $50,795 through a 30-day Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for her new project, MISSING: The Complete Saga. The game is an expanded version of Missing: Game For A Cause, which won the Indie Game Of The Year title at the NASSCOM Gaming Forum Awards 2016. 

Bannermen Kickstarter Now Live

Indie developer Pathos Interactive today announced that its Kickstarter to crowdfund development for innovative RTS (Real-Time Strategy) title, Bannermen, for PC, is now live with the initial funding goal of 400,000 SEK (about €45K). Featuring dynamic environments, a single player campaign and several multiplayer modes, Bannermen offers a fresh take on the RTS genre with features never before seen in a real-time strategy game. The main tasks consist of base building, resource management and battling enemy armies with maps and missions that vary both in length and shape. Players will be able to interact with the environments to create interesting combat sequences and greater strategic dept.

4X Strategy Oriental Empires Leaves Early Access

Publisher Iceberg Interactive announces the full release of their turn-based grand strategy title Oriental Empires. The game launched, having spent a year in Steam’s Early Access program.

Tannenberg Set to Release November 16

Tannenberg, the second entry in the realistic 1914-1918 WW1 Game Series by the creators of Verdun, will be releasing November 16 on Steam Early Access.

War Thunder: New Era Announced

At gamescom 2017, Gaijin Entertainment announced that its vehicular combat MMOG War Thunder will soon add a sixth rank for Ground Forces via the upcoming New Era Update. The new rank will feature armored vehicles from the 1960’s through the 1970’s and introduce new ground combat technologies, such as composite and reactive armor.
