Story-Driven Shooter "Solstice Chronicles" Coming to PC

Written by

From Ironward Studios, developers of the popular but difficult Action RPG "The Red Solstice," comes a new story-driven shooter titled "Soltice Chronicles: Missing In Action."

The game and the start of its alpha testing was announced at this year’s Gamescom. Already receiving critical acclaim for their first game, Ironward is hard at work creating Solstice Chronicles, a game set in the same world as The Red Solstice. Adding to a strong focus on co-op and competitive gameplay, the main premise of Solstice Chronicles anchors itself in story-driven scenarios, letting players dive into the universe of its predecessor. And of course, it's action-packed.

Solstice Chronicles adds to co-op teams a loyal drone to help control enemy spawns on maps, a twin-stick control and combat system, a Diabloesque skill-tree system, a unique “Tactical Decisions” system, and local co-op for 2 players.

“Alienation, Alien Swarm and Helldivers all use the same formula, which is good but we believe, that we can make it even better. That’s why we expand on it by applying the ability to control the map with our most unique feature “Tactical Decisions”, that will allow gamers to change the pace of the game. We are creating a unique action shooter that can be played tactically, with twin-stick controls.” said Ironward CEO, Hrvoje Horvatek.

Solstice Chronicles: Missing In Action will release during the Q1 of 2017 for PC.
