Wanted Killer VR does exactly what it needs to do, providing plenty of stylish action with a unique look and a decent amount of polish. While some of its features are at odds with the chaotic gameplay, and there are some other annoyances, it’s worth its price.
A tale of the almighty power of time, The Watchmaker is reminiscent of Portal in its humor and scientific focus. Playing will prompt reflection and evoke emotion, but deficiencies include narrative, level design, and puzzles.
The creative process of The Watchmaker has been continuous improvement in these four years of development, starting by working on expressing our own fascination for the time that goes by in life. The fact of aging and the realization that life was made to live and enjoy — not to collect material things — is really important to us, which is something that is inserted in the history of our game. The art of the game is one of the most relevant aspects of the game, along with the story, and we believe that the steampunk style was the right one for a watchmaker — full of gears and steam.
Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days by Big Star Games is a third-person top-down shooter with few connections to Quentin Tarantino’s film other than it being about gangsters with color-coded names; and yet Bloody Days partially succeeds in its aspiration to revive a classic for crime and gangster films, while offering a time-rewind mechanics that helps the game distinct itself from the pool of titles in the top-down shooter category.
After the reveal at GDC and PAX East last month, Lionsgate and Big Star Games today are announcing a May 18 launch date for Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days. Also released is a cinematic trailer that explains the game’s Time Rewind system and confirms the launch date for Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days, the top-down strategy action with the time back twist.
I absolutely recommend you try this out, as it currently is sitting at the top of my indie shooter list, and is something I intend to keep trying to master, until I too am super hot.
