Summon the Giant Octopus with The Tempest

Written by

Traditional pirating aside, Tempest takes a fantastic approach to the traditional war game, offering mystical crystals as artifacts to help you deal with incoming cannonballs and meteorites, and giant octopus to summon for when you might need aid.

Game Developer Lion’s Shade and Russian Publisher HeroCraft released their Pirate RPG Tempest on Steam.

Priced under $15, Tempest lets you command ships and engage in sea battles across oceans. Vessel customization and loot are at the heart of the action, with “cannon-to-cannon” encounters and fortress assaults.

As game features, HeroCraft highlights more than 100 single-player quests and a multiplayer mode offering both co-op and PvP. With weapons of choice that include cannons, mortars and flamethrowers, Tempest’s crew management is on top of the agenda: you level your loyal seamen with quests and missions, in hope to create “fearsome cutthroats on the high seas.”

Traditional pirating aside, Tempest also takes a more fantastic approach to the traditional war game, offering mystical crystals as artifacts to help you deal with incoming cannonballs and meteorites, and giant octopus to summon for when you might need aid.

Tempest can be found on Steam here.
