Leading publisher Maximum Games has announced Dead Alliance, an inventive take on zombie games and team-based first-person shooters expected to launch Aug. 29. Zombies in Dead Alliance are not just the enemy; they are weapons that can be strategically used to distract and destroy unsuspecting human foes in combat.

The two studios behind Verdun - Blackmill Games and M2H - just announced a new title in their realistic WW1 series ‘1914-1918’. Standalone expansion Tannenberg will be released on PC via Steam later this year.

NBA Playgrounds, at its best, provides some over the top arcade experience that can be highly entertaining, hilarious and even addicting to play. With a presentation and technical foundation that’s as solid as fun, NBA Playgrounds is easy to pick up but hard to master and makes for a worthy addition to any library of arcade sports games.

There are very few negative aspects to Blitzkrieg 3, which brings unexpected, fresh ideas to one of hardcore gaming’s most recently underserved areas. Blitzkrieg 3 isan exemplary real time strategy title, and it benefits tremendously from its developer’s fourteen years of work on the series and in the genre. Whether you've been with the genre since Dune II, or whether your experience with real-time strategy is somewhere in the nil-to-MOBA range, Blitzkrieg 3 is absolutely worth your time. Get this game and go kill you some Nazis today.

At the end of the day, Infinite Air with Mark McMorris is a sports simulation title. Those who should make the $50 purchase are those who are snowboarders, those who want to snowboard, and/or those interested in a life-like representation of snowboarding in a game. You know who you are, and here is the title you’ve been waiting for.

SWORDY is a local party brawler with chaotic physics-based action. Master the weapons of war, using momentum and timing to fight for your life in a world built on the bones of a ruined empire.

Frog Climbers is a very simple game, but it's all you need for a social night of fun with friends. Its simplistic design and intuitive controls make for a solid Couch Co-Op experience and one that is tailor-made to frustrate and beat the living poop out of the fine folks you, all so kindly, invited over.

Abatron is galactic dominance with controlled combat. Build your base and troops in RTS mode. Then jump into any unit at any time in FPS or in third person and confront your enemy head on. Unlock upgraded player abilities and build large armies to become the last player standing.

When judging an Early Access game, you have to judge it on its potential as much as on what’s already there, and SPAERA is already off to a great start, with all signs pointing toward an even better game in the future. Depending on your tolerance for Early Access, it may or may not be worth getting now, but you must check this one out when it releases.

Snow Horse may be a joke, but in its current state, it isn’t funny. I do love the idea of a horse on a snowboard, but a good concept isn’t enough to recommend its purchase. With a larger selection of courses, and improved physics to add a little dynamic action to the game, there’d be hope for all snow horses out there, but priced at $6, there are better options out there for cartoony racers.

Super Button Soccer is a fast paced action/strategy game where you compete against human or CPU players in exciting online and offline soccer matches, collect cards and build your ultimate fantasy team!

Pimp up your mobility scooter and take on the Grim Reaper and his Zombie army in a race for your soul. Armed with a variety of homemade weapons and gadgets, battle your way through 13 unique & exhilarating tracks. Can you survive the retirement village?

I'm still crossing my fingers for a content update that provides a little more variety to the game modes, but what they launched with is a brilliant start to a title I know I'll be playing for , at the least, the next few years.

Battleborn is worth the money it costs. I know that I will keep playing it because it offers me more than a simple match. I will even buy the DLC if they expand the campaign. I definitely recommend this title because it it sets itself apart from what I already have in my collection.

Gurgamoth is a flying fighting game where the level is your weapon. Each match is lightning quick and focuses on intense flying combat and getting in your opponent's head. The controls are simple, but the mechanics and interesting levels bring out the game’s depth.

This is a fun title overall with fast frenetic gameplay (especially if you have buddies over), it is easy to pick up and play, and with more unlockables on the horizon there should be more content to keep players coming back. If it can deliver on all of its promises I will no longer need to be playing my emulator anymore.
