Although short, the game provides a very relaxing experience, embarking on the archer Yi’s journey to save the village. After several playthroughs, I was craving to play more story games with a focus on original music. However, the market for these games is limited, leading me to believe that this could be an excellent platform for more original composers to feature their music in a unique, visual way.

INSIDE is a wonderful experience and I would recommend it if you can see yourself enjoying a sacrifice in gameplay for a memorable journey, with a bit of “WTF did I just do” thrown in for good measure.
In a nutshell, Hiiro is a game that achieves more by delivering less. Minimalistic gameplay mechanics take a backseat to exploration and discovery. It’s relaxed ambiance, seamless world, and mildly challenging puzzles make it a title where it doesn’t matter whether you beat the game. If you’re exploring Hiiro’s world, then you’ve already won.
Technomancer is utterly fantastic, even if it does have a few minor kinks that need to be worked out. It's wicked fun with satisfying combat, and it offers a clever leveling build with full customization. With a decent story and a convincing landscape, what's more to enjoy than a post-apocalyptic world where options are plenty?
To me, music is... I can’t even explain it. I tried to come up with a great analogy for the first sentence, and there are literally no words. If you have some time, look up amazing, supernatural, and effin’ sweet in the thesaurus, and you’ll get an idea. True, the vast majority of the time that I’m driving, I listen to NPR. It really helps to keep a sharp mind when you work in the business world. You learn stuff, you find great conversation topics, and you don’t speed to NPR. See, when I put music on in the car, unless its smooth jazz, I get a lead foot. Music has the power to make you go faster… and faster is better, right? And who doesn’t want to be better?
In a gaming word where top-down shooters are quite overplayed and almost flooding the market, Enter The Gungeon has done an excellent job setting itself aside from the rest. Not many top-down shooters have such well-done mechanics and fun dungeon crawling aspects. Currently available now on Steam, priced at $14.99, this game is definitely worth picking up and giving it a run through. I think you’ll enjoy it just as much as I have.
