Stranger Things 3: The Game Review

Stranger Things 3: The Video Game is a lot like cereal from the ’80s. It’s old and stale and surpassed by more modern offerings. While it draws upon influences of games long past, it ultimately fails to incorporate more recent innovations in it’s genre.

Team Sonic Racing Review

A visually stunning and entertaining way to pass the time. As far as arcade racers go, this is definitely a solid one, though it isn’t entirely without flaws.

Outward Review

A difficult survival game with some interesting elements that is significantly hindered by tedious mechanics and a superficial world.

Hands On: Outward

Outward, developed by Nine Dots Studio and published by Deep Silver, is a survival open-world RPG. In it, you play not as a chosen one, but a random villager seeking to pay your way out from under a blood debt to their clan. Rather than “a life for a life” sort of blood debt, this one is a mere monetary fee passed down from generation to generation as fiduciary reparation for past wrongs. After your most recent merchant expedition fails, you’re left with a handful of days to make your next payment before your hometown riots against you.

Override: Mech City Brawl Review

Override is an interesting take on the fighting genre. Sadly, what it has in imagination it lacks in mechanical depth.

Kabounce Review

Kabounce is delightful, especially if you’re looking for an online, competitive multiplayer title. While minor improvements could be made, you’re mostly left wanting more: More maps, more options — more Kabounce!

The Walking Vegetables Review

With many weapons, unlocks, and even co-op play,  The Walking Vegetables has a high chance you will replay it over, and over... and over. It’s a great game all-around, especially if you are interested in a cheap alternative to therapy because your mom forced you to eat her vegetable casserole, even though you told her you hated carrots. The Walking Vegetables takes the best aspects of any top-down shooter, and gives it the 80s-cocaine-treatment that it needed.
