Ratloop Games Canada is a small team based out of Montreal consisting of 7 full time developers, and 2 part-time interns. We have 1 producer, 2 programmers, and 4 artists. Playdius and independent studio Robot Wizard are proud to announce that the point & click adventure game Jengo, has successfully achieved its Fig Backstage Pass Program, with more than 20% of its fundraising goal reached and over 270 backers in one month. Starting today, Jengo is starting its full Fig Crowdfunding campaign.

After two test sessions, Scavengers Studio is excited to make Duo Mode a permanent part of Darwin Project on Steam. Joining its standard free-for-all game mode, Duo Mode allows combatants to team up with friends or strangers as they stake their claim on the snow-covered battlefield. The developers stated they welcome player feedback as they work to improve Duos even further.

On the full release, The Wizards will get access to three new story chapters, two of them including epic boss fights. The update will also bring "Master Enchantments" - powerful upgrades for all the spells. We also managed to highly optimize the game and increase its visual fidelity. The major and most visible difference is in the lighting. Since the full release, all spells will cast light on its surroundings, which will lead to quite interesting visual effects.

Microïds, Anuman Interactive’s video games publishing label, has signed an agreement with Los Angeles-based Reeder Brand Management for the rights to the name and likeness of legendary director Alfred Hitchcock and elements of his film Vertigo. Microïds also announced that Pendulo studios will be developing a game loosely based on Hitchcock's masterpiece.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden’ is a tactical adventure game featuring a deep storyline set on a post-human Earth, which combines strategy and the turn-based tactical combat of ‘XCOM’ with real-time exploration and stealth gameplay. Currently in development by an experienced team including former ‘HITMAN’ designers and Ulf Andersson, the designer of ‘PAYDAY.

David Su’s video game musical features a unique playthrough with an award-winning soundtrack. Although short, the game provides a very relaxing experience, embarking on the archer Yi’s journey to save the village. After several playthroughs, I was craving to play more story games with a focus on original music. However, the market for these games is limited, leading me to believe that this could be an excellent platform for more original composers to feature their music in a unique, visual way.
