Though this visual novel has an interesting narrative, it is hindered by a lack of impactful choices, a lack of options, and branching errors that take you out of the story. 

While this title is a fun and relaxing way to pass the time and the map editor is a nice addition, it isn’t anything you haven’t seen before. 

Despite the control issues and short playthrough length, the relaxing ambience, charming story, and beautiful artwork make this an adventure title well worth playing.

I will eat you is an entertaining multiplayer title with well-designed maps that help add some variety to the gameplay. Though the overall content is a bit limited and the long wait times can hinder the experience, the price is surprisingly fair for what is being offered. If GSE can keep adding more content, then the full release is definitely something fans of the survival multiplayer genre should keep an eye out for. 

A humorous and beautifully drawn point-and-click adventure, Angelo and Deemon: One Hell of a Quest is fun to play, but unfortunately falls flat story-wise.

If Magnus Games Studio can iron out all of the current issues, then the full release definitely has the potential to be an impressive RPG and is worth keeping an eye out for.

Despite its wonderful premise and future potential to match the loveable charm of similar titles, Willowbrooke Post is hindered by game-breaking bugs and missing content to the point where it is almost unplayable. Though it does show some promise and you should definitely keep an eye out for the full release if you’re a fan of management-based games, it can’t be recommended at this point in Early Access.

Outlaws of the Old West is a promising survival MMO in Early Access, developed by Virtual Basement and published by Wandering Wizard. You wake up in a wooden coffin in the middle of nowhere, left with only the minimal clothes on your back and your will to live. With nothing but nature around you, it’s up to you to survive the harsh world and build a new life in the Wild West.

Project Winter provides a refreshing take on the multiplayer survival genre and offers up some substantial promise, but is hindered by a variety of technical problems. With eight players per round, you and your fellow survivors must work together to survive the frigid landscape around you and combine your resources to call for help, all while avoiding the traitors among you and the vicious wildlife searching for their next meal. It’s a brutal world out there, and you can’t survive it alone.

Beholder 2’s strengths include great storytelling, impactful choices, and high replayability, while its weaknesses are unavoidable, repetitive mini-games and lack of fast travel.

This battle royale title has dark humor and a ton of character customization, yet it could use more weapons and maps.
